This weekend will be a conference in Portland on single payer health care.  I plan to be there!  I am convinced that the best solution to our growing health care crisis is to establish a solid single payer system.  This SHOULD be done at a national level, but if the US Congress will not enact it, then states should enact their own single payer systems.

Vermont is leading the way now, and I want to give full support to efforts in Oregon.
