Right-wing smear campaigns have been targeting Democrats, liberals, and others who support or teach labor history and union rights.  Everyone should be aware of the tactics being used, so that if you see a report, that makes it appear someone on the left is doing bad, you really need to dig deeper and find the facts before you judge.  Too many of these right-wing smears have been taken seriously, and have turned out to be slander through careful editing and taking statements out of context.

The video below is about professors slandered for their teaching of union history.  I would like to learn some of this union history.  I've been trying for years to learn more about my own Great-Great Grandfather who was a union organizer in the Zinc smelters, but that history does not appear in standard history texts or encyclopedias.
