Health Care Reform - "The Greateast Assault on Liberty this country has ever had"?!?!?!

The Republicans are proving three things with recent actions regarding health care reform:

1) They don't care one bit about anyone who is sick or injured.  They value the profits of private insurance companies over the lives of Americans.  Instead of trying to actually make it possible for people to afford health care, they want to protect the current terribly broken for profit system.

2) They don't care about civility.  Republicans in Congress and their talk radio mouth peices have continually incited vile contempt for anyone who is trying to actually improve the lives of Americans.  If they disagree on how to improve health care, they could simply debate the issue on its merits, and work towards a solution, but instead they inflame rhetoric and encourage extreme assumptions about the end of freedom.  Where was this concern about freedom when the Bush administration was directly violating the US Constitution and eliminating Habeas Corpus?

3) They don't care to accomplsih ANYTHING!  Republicans in Congress have become entirely obstructionist, not just trying to block proposals they legitimately disagree with, but blocking EVERY action.  Obama and the Democrats bent over backwards in attempts to entice bi-partisanism, but have been met at every turn by stunts and stonewalling to completely stop all progress.

It is time to simply admit that the Republicans have become the Grumpy Obstructionist Partisans and relegate them to the political junkyard of history.  From now on we should recognize that "bi-partisan" means it is supported by both the Liberal and Conservative Democrats.

Anyone uncertain about the need for health care reform in America, should go to http://www.ourailinghealthcare.com/ and watch the movie posted there.
